How robcla started their logo design journey
Robbie Claire / robbieclaire.com
Robbieclaire.com will be the new name for a leading UK online shoe and accessories store.
We sell high street and designer shoes, with top brands and styles ranging from flip flops to high heels, boots to sandals, wedges and trainers.
We also stock handbags, scarves, gloves, hats etc but our main focus is footwear.
The brand feel is friendly, fresh, sassy, stylish, sophisticated and modern.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
The brand must accommodate both male and female audiences.
Core customer age is 36, so we need to maintain maturity and sophistication; 'girly pink' is far too young.
The customer is professional; they love shopping online and are very much into the latest trends yet also looking for practicality.
The logo must be for 'robbieclaire.com' - including the .com – as well as some sort of icon which is unique to the brand.
Be creative with the icon, remembering it must somehow represent what the company does - retail shoes and accessories. It must be representative if used on its own.
The words 'robbie' and 'claire' must be clearly readable as one word and as separate entities.
We're looking for something simple with a white background - the text must work as dark blue/black/grey tones. Anything over designed or too complex will be ruled out.
Please do not use clip art or stock imagery. You might want to look at the logos of prestigious fashion designers for inspiration.
We've included our current and work-in-progress branding.
