I am running for Sheriff of Door County, Wisconsin in 2010. I retired as a Lieutenant from the Door County Sheriff's Department in 2007 after 32 years in Law Enforcement. I have a lifetime of law enforcement experience. My father retired as Chief of Police for Sturgeon Bay (the county seat) and I had several relatives involved in law enforcement. My daughter is a police officer, married to a police officer and I have another daughter also married to a police officer. Door County is the peninsula on the eastern side of Wisconsin, and is often referred to as the "Cape Cod of the Midwest". It has a population of approximately 30,000 residents and during the peak tourist season attracts 1-2 million visitors.
Approximately 18,000 registered voters in Door County, Wisconsin.
Historically, local political offices are won by Republican candidates, but in recent years Democratic candidates have garnered the most votes in state & national elections.
I am looking for a logo/icon for my campaign.
I want to use it on flyers, yard signs and other print material that I will be mailing to voters.
My campaign will be predicated on "dedicated, professional leadership"
I want it to be patriotic, clear, simple and bold that will catch the voter's eye. Utilize the American flag in some form or another if you like.
You may or may not want to include my photo.
My website domain name is http://www.larson4sheriff.com. It has not been developed yet.
