Since some years (!) I've been struggling with the naming of my photography brand. Initially the website was called http://www.hatred.ch , but the name came from my school music band and didn't really fit the nature of my photos. Facebook fan page is called "Tselishchev Photography", but on one hand it is not really readable (or at least is not easily pronounceable) for non-Russian speaking audience and also doesn't look well for Russian-speaking audience (cyrillic writing of my last name is "Целищев" and the letter "Ц" is converted to "TS" and does bring confusion as well).
With that being said I would like to have a logo, that would reflect my work (please check my Facebook page for the latest series) and somehow reflect or resemble my name (for *English-speaking* audience). As an example the logo text could be "TSE Photography" or have something in form of the cyrillic letter "Ц" (if the letter is not readable I will send a screenshot), but I would like to see some fresh ideas from designers, who could help me :) Any of my photos could be used directly or as sihlouette in this logo.
Thank you very much in advance!
UPDATE 06 Sep 8:40PM CET: After looking at some first proposals - "ALEXEY PHOTOGRAPHY" is not something I'd consider as a logo text - Alexey is a *very* common Russian name, so the thing looks like "John Photography", which doesn't make a lot of sense. I am thinking about creating a nickname "Alex Tseli", so it could be one of the options along with TSE Photography.
UPDATE 07 Sep 9:10PM CET: If you consider putting a camera in a logo, please make sure it is not a standard stock or icon, I'd like to see a designer-drawn image in a logo, be it a camera or a mountain profile - most importantly it should be unique and somehow reflect my works.
