La Raclette is a business opening soon in Adelaide, Australia. La Raclette will be offering the traditional French and Swiss melted cheese dish ‘raclette’. There are no current restaurants or eateries who sell raclette in Adelaide, so to test the market we are first opening a stall at a popular market ‘Plant 4 Bowden’ in Adelaide, with the hope that if consumers respond well and enjoy the Raclette as much as we do, that in the future we will open a small restaurant focusing on the dish. The dish itself comes from the French and Swiss alps, so it is a nice and warm dish for people when it is cold outside. We are looking for something simple for the logo, also something that has a French link. The style idea for the market stall/future restaurant is to create something warm, lots of wood (timber)/candles/warm lighting etc. to create a cosy and inviting environment without being too modern. La Raclette is the business idea of Pascal, a Frenchman living in Adelaide, so we really want to highlight the French authenticity of the market/restaurant.
