Yuminthebox has taken the details of the briefing on the dot and has presented a first concept on target. We had some back and forth for various options and he was very responsive.
How Jinyoung started their logo design journey
Korean Wedding Ducks
Please go check out koreanducks.com. We sell these wooden duck sets. These are usually gifts for a young couple about to be or recently married.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Our audience is largely American or Korean-Americans. The gift obviously is for a younger couple about to be or recently married but the customer (those that actually buy these duck set as a gift are of varying demographics).
The "logo" should be a combination of a mark/drawing in combination with the text "Korean Wedding Ducks" in an appropriate text treatment. See http://shop.ladybugspicnic.net/.
A logo with a "kawaii" animals drawing (search on Google Images for "kawaii animals" if you don't know what that is) would be nice. Please do not restrict yourself to that if you have better ideas.
It would be nice if the mark/drawing portion that is reducible to a favicon.
This logo doesn't necessarily have to fit within the context of the current design for koreanducks.com (meaning I'm willing to let the new logo design inspire and drive the design for the rest of the site).
