6/29/2011 All designers: We have decided to extend this contest for 1 day. What I'd like to see as soon as possible is a name clarification whereby which the word "WORKS" is of equal size and weight AND in the same plane as the word "KINGDOM". This is important because we are about KINGDOM WORKS, which is one unified thought, with the word "media" being secondary. Rather than "WORKS MEDIA" being a separate, secondary thought. Also, in case you have not read the updated brief, we're not looking for a royal crown in the logo. In fact, the spirit of Kingdom Works and much of what we do is charitable work. So the idea of a this business being a "kingdom" is not the essence. The idea in short is more about good deeds through photography and videography. Hope that helps and I apologize for not spelling that out sooner. Have a great day!
Logo types to explore

The attached file is a current logo I designed in elements. It's a bit sterile and looks like it might be on some stuffy executives door. I want the logo to look professional but have some pop (color even perhaps). Something with vines reaching up or out to a light source could be interesting if it's not too cartoony. Perhaps an abstract implied way of reaching out or painting with light. The Castle Rock Entertainment logo comes to mind. I'm shooting everything from babies and weddings to serious news journalism to landscapes and glamour shots. The logo needs to accommodate a broad spectrum. Something classy that could work at the bottom of a baby portrait and a flag covered casket at the same time. Rather not have crowns in the logo. Thank you!
