We are artisan candy makers in New York City. We hire sculptors (mainly) out of art school and train them to work with and create in the medium of molten sugar. We sell candy in a variety of flavors and colors, including chocolate. Many of our candies have words (Happy Birthday, Thank You, Jill (Heart) Joe, or corporate names or logos sculpted inside. Our process is based upon the original European candy making of the 17th century, which is seen as fresh and modern, sophisticated. We target adults and children that are interested in artisan, handmade quality and great taste (think foodies that watch the cooking channel, food network, cake boss, the chew, etc.) Our customers are both local New Yorkers as well as visitors from around the world. We make candy live in our shop for our "retail audience", so experience is an important part of what we deliver. Our candy is colorful and flavorful with a jewel-like quality.
