K12Portal is looking for a great and inspiring Logo

K12Portal is an educational site which will offer software to help stake holders in K-12 communicate and get things done. The stake holders are parents, students and teachers.

We're looking for a logo that is clean, energetic and fun. Primary color is blue. Extra points for a badge.

We're looking for a logo that is clean, energetic and fun. Primary color is blue.

K12Portal is one word (capitalized 'K' and 'P'). We like that but if you have a compelling reason to deviate from that, we would consider it.

Extra points for a badge .For the badge, you can not abbreviate K12Portal to K!2 as that would conflict with someone else's trademark.

Oh, as an aside: K12Portal has a temporary index page. That page has a cow on it, but we're -not- looking for cow inspired themes :-)

- A Logo that is clean looking and fun
- should be acceptable and speak to our audience of parents, kids and teachers
- Blue as the primary color, but multiple/other colors are fine
- Extra points for a badge, something like 48x48 or 64x64
- We prefer a vector image for the logo so that it scales on various display devices

- something that is too cartoony
- something that has a classic feel to it i.e. curly letters etc
- logo's with a cow :-)
