krameslice got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Japanese-style flower startup needs a logo we can build our identity around

Ikebana is the ancient Japanese art of flower arranging (google to see some cool examples). Ikebana Box (our company) is a monthly subscription box with fresh cut flowers that you assemble at home into your own DIY ikebana arrangement following our designs. Think 'Blue Apron,' but instead of creating food you are creating a beautiful Japanese flower sculpture to keep in your home for the week. Customers will be in the US and we expect the majority of them to be female, high-income professionals in the 25-45 age group.
We are very early in the process of building our brand identity and are looking for creative ideas to shape our direction! The logo should visually and/or stylistically reference Japan and its design aesthetic in some way - the Japanese heritage of ikebana will be an important element in our brand story. We are open to both traditional and contemporary interpretations of the Japanese aesthetic (for traditional examples look at the great 19th century woodblock print artists Hiroshige and Hokusai). We are open to title case, upper case or lower case in our name.
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Logo design starts at $299.
Full copyright with production-ready files for digital and/or print.

Cadina was great to work with and made adjustments to the design based upon my suggestions. Cadina helped me clarify my vision. The final designed captured what I was looking for in all aspects. I highly recommend working with Cadina.
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
