How Geotegrity Solutions started their logo design journey
The brand family: HardBlogIt, HardNewsIt, HardSentIt, HardPicIt
We are going to introduce the world to a nifty service that prints and delivers internet content to your doorstep (or your grandmother's!). This service will be easy to use, and deliver professional results on demand. We aspire to have a tiny bit of real estate on every online news/blog article, just as Facebook, Digg and Twitter do.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
The iniital target is readers of blogs readers and online news. The logo will almost never be prominent, it will be tucked away in the corner of an article, not distracting, but noticeable/attractive and always there for the user.
The logo (or perhaps part of it) needs to serve as a simple, recognizable "button." Ideally, this would be similiar to the Facebook 'f' icon or the del.icio.us 'checkerbox' icon. Remember, it has to be recognizable at 20x20. This button begs to be clicked on, and it should be simple, clean and catchy.
The small logo could also be part of a bigger one-such that when you look at one you can recognize the other-think about the a picture of the 'C' in Coca-Cola. But really, the show is yours with this one. We want to see interesting, innovative, and elegant ideas.
Either format is fine:
Print file format - .ai (CMYK)
Web file format - .psd (RGB)
Please do not use any stock images or clip art in the logo.
