How saitodaniel started their logo design journey
Thank you for taking time to look at this project. I hope you will have fun designing a cool looking logo, as much as we are currently developing it. The culture here at CookTasty! is relaxed, as we encourage creativity. We want to stand-by and be proud of what we make and the logo that you will produce for us. The logo will be our image moving forward, as it will be key in determining our marketplace and online presence.
Cooking should be fun, so let's have fun doing this project! So to everyone getting involved in this project, good luck and have fun!
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
The target audience will cater to the international foodie / cooks of all levels out there. It will be geared up in a Web 2.0 app, this web application will use all the technology of "what is in" but still keep to the theme of simplicity. People will access the site from across the GLOBE (so we want to see flags), as we want to make CookTasty! the defacto cooking recipe site. Those who are interested in cooking or finding the "the cook next door" recipe from around the world.
The principle audience will be targeted in Asia (specifically Japan) and the English speaking countries. The demographics will be catering to females around the age of 21-38 years - but by all means not denoting the same male demographics. Since this will be a global cooking application we will also have intuitive bilingual videos on recipes, cooking techniques and detailed on the top rated recipes, as voted by the CookTasty! community.
Consider this as the next generation of innovative cooking site, as this will introduce social media (e.g. facebook) with cooks and friends on a world wide scale without language barriers.
OK so read this far, so you must be interested. So here is skinny on what we are looking for..
We are looking for a logo that will WOW us and our visitors to our site. Something cute, clever and witty (web 2.0, like logo). It would be nice to have a clean simple one with an apparent message, like adidas or citibank. (see attachment) We need you to follow the submitted color scheme; the submissions must work both on the website, on stationary, on business cards, on white and colored backgrounds – all elements must be royalty-free and submitted in illustrator format, vectorized so we can use it at any size we see fit. Also provide both COLOR & BLACK and WHITE versions when submitting. Also have a version with ".com" and WITHOUT the ".com".
If you do an amazing jobs that blow our minds, we will definitely be in contact and will be looking to you on occasion in the future for paid engagements. We will ask for reiterations of the same logo, but catering to different seasons, holidays and such. So this isn't some one time deal, this is a long term reoccurring relationship that we want to build with YOU!
