Repeta
We are a plastic recycling company at the forefront of our industry. Long established, but in need of a new logo to reflect the modern, technologically advanced and environmentally aware process that recycling has become.
We only process industrial waste, and require a logo that will reflect this. Not aimed at "household" or consumer waste.
Would like the company name to form the logo, but in such a way as to be easily recognisable, without having to actually read the text. We would also like the logo to visually convey the fresh, clean and modern industry that we are part of. It may also have a science feel as being plastics or polymer recyclers - or may not. We are open to your creativity. I do hope that those gifted designers amongst you understand where I am going - and will try to provide as much feedback throughout the process.
We would like a reference to the recycling logo (or a fresh take on it) as opposed to a stock image of the standard triangle. We would like the recycling logo incorporated (but the actually logo (or arrowed triangle) as it stands would need to be altered or modified so that it is easily incorporated into the company name, and so that it represents the "freshness" that we are after.
It does not necessarily have to look like the actual recycling logo but may just be a reference to it.
Would also really like to see the letters in the company name used to create the triangle - either an individual letter, or a combination of letters. Will leave this to the creative ones amongst you! This is just an idea, and we are open to other designs.
Colours: must incorporate a vivid GREEN - but this does not have to be the prominant colour, other clolours to be used must work with the green. Would not like too many different colours - nothing to busy (keeping the "clean" feel in mind).
Will be used for both print and web, so must work in monochrome and must also work on different colour backgrounds.
No other images other than the recycling logo reference Please!!
Vector format required, as well as psd.
Hope I have made some sense, and look forward to seeing what we will be representing ourselves with in the near future.
NOTE: We faced some unexpected issues around the same time that we ran the original contest and as a consequence, were unable to select a winning idea, or to request to have the contest re-run. We are now ready to attempt to finalise our branding and move forward with this contest. We appreciate the effort of all the original entrants and hope the high quality concepts will continue.
