Reward Me
We are Reward Me, a mobile application that allows local businesses to reward their loyal customers with discounts and prizes.
For Consumers: Consumers download our mobile application and automatically receive points when they walk into their favorite restaurants or shops. There is absolutely no need for them to check-in. Once they have reached a threshold of visits (assigned by the merchant), the consumer is able to claim his or her reward.
For Merchants: Merchants are able to reward their best customers. While "deal" companies like Groupon allow merchants to bring in 1-time traffic at a loss in hopes that it will bring in foot-traffic in the long run, we provide merchants with the power to retain their margins and encourage their best customers to become their evangelists.
We're about rewarding the loyal customer; we do not do 1-off deals.
The logo needs to accomplish the following: Encourage the merchant (our client) to show the logo to their patrons. Also, the logo must encourage the consumer to download our application on their phone.
Therefore, our target audience is both the merchant and the consumer.
Merchant: Small-Medium-sized local business. The majority of our clients will be local restaurants.
Consumer: 21 - 35 males and females in affluent cities: San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, Austin, and Boulder. These consumers are loyal to the local restaurant. They try to find the best restaurants in their town that are not a franchise owned by "the man."
Must contain app name: Reward Me
1. The logo must be simple
It should not intimidate a local business or overwhelm a consumer. When the local business sees it they should think, "This is a legitimate company that will make me successful." When the consumer sees it, they should think, "This company understands my love for my local restaurants. I would love to use it to get rewards."
2. Icon friendly
The logo does not need to be a square, but it at least needs to be easily made into a square so that it fits as a picture in the iPhone Application store. It should also be easy to make to logo into a t-shirt and to put the logo in documents.
3. Cute memorable figure
You have creative freedom here. We would love to have some kind of cute, memorable figure associated with our brand and in the logo. Feel free to use an animal or to use a caricature of a consumer.
4. Logos we like:
