Unlike most golf-related brands, Tetro is not industry-oriented; Tetro is player-oriented. Our research indicates golf brands heavily on physical golf artifacts: balls, tees, flags, and clubs. There is not a lot of usage of golf symbolism like scoring (scores include terms like par, over, under, even, level, and often bird-references like birdie, eagle, albatross), nor about playing with other people. Golf is a game of honour: you keep your own score and call your own penalties on yourself. Included screenshots from our app for colour references if they're helpful. The Tetro name itself builds up on Tetrad (4, for four people playing golf) and the O in the word golf. Our app is about coordinating a round of golf, hopefully with 4 people involved.
