Kim was great to work with--efficient, responsive to my needs, and really flexible. I had over 220 designs submitted, and hers always stood out. She has a really good eye for design and a professional touch. I highly recommend her.
How Wildfirewebsites started their logo design journey
We are an online marketing company that specialises in providing online marketing services for local and small businesses. We provide affordable websites and a range of other online marketing services to local product and service providers who have not before been involved in marketing online. Our mission is to provide online marketing and websites that get customers to call our clients and that actually generate cash rather than sitting there as cyber slugs costing businesses money.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Our target market is Small to medium local businesses. They are product and service providers ranging from trades people (builders, plumbers, electricians) through to professionals (lawyers, accountants, Architects) as well as retail (florists, Shoe Shops, clothes shops) and then on to health and beauty (hairdressers, massuers, fitness trainers).
These are people who will be advertising in and around their immediate local area to attract their local customers, not global or national businesses.
We want something bold and striking that is really eye catching. We do not want subtle. We want modern and vibrant.
The name Wildfire came from wanting to help businesses start a wildfire in their business. To help them turn the heat up and really get the businesses cooking. Basically we want to help our clients be "On Fire" in their business.
We will require the words in the logo of Wildfire Websites but also think that the 2 w's as the initials could work well in a design. Obviously it makes sense to see some form of flames or "Wildfire" with in the logo. We would like to see an icon symbol in the logo design so that later the icon may become recognisable on its own.
Maybe the ww could be used in a flame context to create an icon. However you guys are the designers and we want to be blown away with creativity (but not whacky or unrecognizable).
We are looking for someone who will catch our attention so much that we can then look to work with them on the rest of the iceberg when we start all the wordpress site designs and a whole host of other design work we will have.
