Homes for Hope is an annual contest that provides needy families with a rent-free apartment for an entire year. The contest takes place in metro Columbus, Ohio, USA, and is sponsored by full-service real estate company Crawford Hoying.

We're looking for a design to accentuate marketing for the Homes of Hope contest. While we probably slightly lean toward a word mark type of design, we are also intrigued by the idea of potentially adding a character to represent. As far as precedent, we're throwing out the book. The logo is a blank slate. Feel free to get creative!
