How Brandon Harrison started their logo design journey
Harrison Construction & Remodeling
I have been building new residential homes for about 10 years. I have decided to start my own company building new homes and offering remodeling services which will encompass just about anything that you can think of pertaining to a residential home. I am an extremely detail oriented person who wants everything pertaining to the job at hand to project quality and excellence. I will not except anything mediocre from my subcontractors, so every job is approached with the perspective of weather or not I would accept the work if it were to be done on my own home, and the job is not complete until I have approved it and my clients are happy.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Starting out, my target audience will be existing homeowners who want to improve the homes that they own at the moment. Weather this is achieved through something as small as re-painting a home or a complete remodel of the home. I will be marketing, for the most part, through realtors in the beginning. Once I get established in the market place, my focus will be towards building new custom residential homes. I feel that my target audience will be focused toward house wives who are bored with the present state/design of the home they are living in.
Right now I am leaning toward wanting a design that will clearly identify my company as a home builder/remodeler, like I stated before, I want a design that will be able to stand on it's own without the actual name in print. I do want the name included off to the side or below, but the design needs to be the focus. Somewhere in the heart of the design I want a capital H. I want to be branded around the H, which obviously represents Harrison. I do not want a design that is "cute", it needs to be very professional and have a strong sense of class. I will try to give feedback as quickly as possible keep the creativity coming. I do want the design done in vector graphics.
