Safe Passage Midwifery
Kathy Breault has been an nurse since the 70's, a midwife since the 90's and is now starting a home birth midwifery practice.
She is not only passionate about birth and babies but also about the environment. She uses re-usable tools in her practice and encourages parents to do the same. The less plastic the better.
She feels that birth is a powerful experience that needs to happen in a place of comfort and familiarity surrounded by those who support the same ideals.
Expectant mothers and fathers looking for an alternative to a hospital setting to birth their baby.
These parents can come from all walks of life, from corporate execs to blue collar.
The idea is this:
A silhouette of a pregnant woman from the waist/thigh up.
Within the body/belly of the woman you see trees arching over a soft, curving path.
To invoke an feeling of calm.
Nothing frilly with lots of curly cues. We are looking for clean, calm, zen. But we are also open to the artist interpretation.
The font for the name "Safe Passage Midwifery" needs to be soft yet professional.
Design should be clean, simple and be able to translate into a number of uses such as: website logo, business card, letter head and so forth.
Nothing bright for colors. Rich earth tones please.
Orientation of the logo and font needs to be able to change depending on the application. (website, business card, letter head)
