Entertainment & The Arts
Armor-Plated Dove Productions provides music for film, games, and interactive multimedia. I specialize in orchestral and electronic scores using a combination of traditional composing techniques and modern technology including custom music creation software. My clients are video game developers, film producers, and arts organizations producing events or installations. Here are a couple musical examples that exemplify my style: http://vimeo.com/22878216 http://soundcloud.com/cliffordanderson/divine-comedy-instrumental-remix My current web site can be found here: http://clifford-anderson.com/
Logo types to explore
I would like the logo to be based on a steampunk or clockwork-inspired mechanical dove. The combination of reliable, mechanical artifice expressed in an organic, beautiful form is a central analogy aligned with my artistic approach. Looking for a memorable design that conveys the values of old-world craftsmanship in a modern aesthetic. In terms of graphic style, I like the somewhat photorealistic look of the two images (attached) better than, say, the inky lines of this illustration: http://www.shanalogic.com/steampunk…r-bag.html — but I'm open to suggestion as to what treatment would be the most effective. (Obviously, any of these examples are too busy for actual use in a logo!) One other note: the word "Productions" in the business name is the least important word. It could be reduced in prominence (or maybe omitted altogether) if that would help the overall design.

And then… they selected a winner!
Responsive to feedback, quick turnaround on edits/changes, exceeded expectations from the beginning. I didn't really have any major changes. Most of my initial input on the design was incorporated. To be honest, when I first saw the design, it isn't what I had imagined in my head, but was extremely pleased without trying something different and hit it out of the park. Other designers were not receptive of input and didn't come close with design request. Great work, Thanks!!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
