krystle got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Help a specialty coffeehouse get a sense of humor.

Food & Drink
We are an independent neighborhood coffeehouse in East Atlanta, Ga. We also bake all of our goods in-house and what we can't do, we source from local businesses. We also are a display place for local art. We have a full gallery where we host monthly art shows and we have locally made merch for sale. Our audience really reflects our neighborhood, college kids, young professionals, and young families.
I would like the logo to be clean and transitional. But we're quirky and lighthearted and don't take ourselves seriously. We're the antithesis to the traditional craft coffee spot. Customer service is first and foremost. We're friendly and inclusive to anyone who walks through our doors. For all intents and purposes, for this particular project, I like the idea of making fun of ourselves a little bit. Like maybe "Hodgepodge" with a latte in a mug with beautiful latte art, except it's fallen over and the art is spilled out on the ground. Of course you don't have to limit yourself. I just really want our humor to shine through because I think that melts the coffee snobbery away. We are looking at opening a market, expanding our brand by selling the goods we make, as well as starting a private tea label all under the same name so I would like to be able to use the logo for all of that as well, which is why transitional, clean, and simple is so important. But please don't lose the humor!

We needed a new logo for our shop heading into our fifth year. Everything went smoothly. Any issue brought up was quickly fixed. I hope to work with Saucy Vegan in the future.
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
