Don't take my word for it, check out Qien's former contests. An outstanding designer able to take a relatively nuanced site concept like American politics and capture the exact sentiment I was after. He is (they are) very easy to communicate with, reads every letter of the contest details I provided, makes multiple requested edits and even provides additional concepts (like what a business card or branded envelope would look like) that I hadn't even considered. I'd use this designer again in a split second.
How Bernardogn started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Originally started as a recycling business (hence the 3R: reduce, recycle, reuse), we are now traders of raw materials (most of them recycled or by-products, such as tallow, lard, vegetable oils, bakery meal) for the animal feed and soap industries. Suppliers are mostly based in the US and clients in Mexico.
Logo types to explore
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
We don't like the current logo at all, but it has industry recognition so we're interested in exploring the possibility of updating it (we're told original idea was a drop of oil in the background), although we could also go with something totally new. Target audience is middle-aged men (buyers of raw materials for industry). Association with recycling is fine but we don't want to be limited by a logo that has recycling written all over it.
