Mill Creek General Store
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We are a retail store that buys fresh, quality foods in bulk, re-packages into affordable smaller quantities for customers. We sell a large assortment of candy, baking ingredients, spices, whole grains, glutten-free and organic foods as well as quality Amish meats and cheeses in our deli ... striving to provide healthier, more natural foods wherever possible. We sell hand-dipped ice cream, all-natural locally produced birch beer and root beer on tap and other Amish foods. We also offer a variety of Amish furniture and goods. Located in Mount Airy, NC, our primary market is the local community, typically above the age of 40 and families with children. We also hope to pick up some of the tourism that comes to see the town of "Mayberry," primarily the older crowd above age 40 or 45. The name "Mill Creek" comes from the fact that this is an old mill town and our store is located on the creek side of town. Also nearby is the famous grist mill, Mabry Mill, located on the Blue Ridge Parkway in Meadows of Dan, Virginia. This mill, as well as others in the surrounding area, is powered by water wheels.

Add "Do Hard Things, LLC" somewhere in small print on the logo.
Store is located in old remodeled mill/warehouse type building in Mount Airy, NC. You will see architecture in attached file. There will be one long 24' sign across the front (not 2 signs as shown), 4' wide. A logo would need to placed on this sign as well as the store name. A file with logo designs is attached... we just were not real excited about any of these... We need subheadings for the sign on the front of the store and they need to read, "Amish Foods - Fresh Deli - Quality Goods". It would be nice to be able to remove the subheadings from the logo when the logo is used in other applications.
