Sara Cheng is a freelance photographer specializing in family, children, and maternity photography. She focuses on outdoor and lifestyle portraiture, with an emphasis on documenting warm, fun, and loving moments. The target audience is individuals and families looking to document moments with their loved ones and looking for a beautiful, warm, but not overly formal look to their photos.
Logo types to explore
I am a serious amateur photographer who is just starting to launch a part-time photography business. I work full-time elsewhere, and do fairly casual photo shoots with busy young families. I do outdoor and "lifestyle" photography, so no formal studio shots. I would love to have a logo to place as a watermark on digital photos (so a white and a black version to be used at partial opacity), and to use on a business card (in a simple color scheme- no more than 3 colors). I want it to be pretty, fun, moderately sophisticated, and just a little sassy (like my photos, and like me). I don't want a "childish" or "cartoony" type font or look. I would like my name to be in a scripty-type font that is not ornate and hard to read. I'd like "Sara Cheng Photography" with a different look to "Sara Cheng" and "Photography" and a simple graphic or pretty squiggle to go with it. No cameras or obvious symbols like that, please. I like the watermark from this other photographer: http://lola-elise.com/to-each-his-own Oh, and one last thing: I am Asian, and would be interested in seeing SOME (not all) designs with a mild Asian flare, or an east-meets-west flare (if that is even possible)
