She was genuine and unique in her ideas, talented, professionell, delivering generously more versions at once, picking up all aspects of the briefing, always very quick, open to all feedbacks, precise in revisions, she was kind in the conversation. I am pleased and really happy with the result and the process. Loved it. Absolutely recommendable.
How 39east started their logo design journey
39 East Photography
39 East Photography is a studio that shoots primarily lifestyle and wedding photography. We generally cater to the mid high to high end client. Our photography style is defined by clean images and quiet moments.
Our company culture tends to be more serious but down to earth. We love experimenting and we are known for using interesting cameras like leica rangefinders to shoot weddings.
Products that we carry are more artisan. Custom bound, custom printed albums.
In some senses, we may even be a little old school as we love shooting film, polaroids, and making black and white prints on fibre paper. We like to think of our photography as reminders of a time when life was simpler and happy. A tangible moment that our clients can hold in their hands.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Our target audience is generally couples in their late 20s, they are generally college educated with professional careers such as doctors, lawyers, engineers, designers, architects, and tend to gravitate towards things that are custom / artisanal.
Clients we work with tend to be more serious but love quirky, interesting old school stuff like film and polaroid. Our clients are generally more subtle people.
We've been using our current logo for the last 4 years. While it somewhat represents our company, I feel like we need a logo which is more organic and inviting. Less cold. Our company color palette right now is black, white, baby blue pantone #edf5ff and red accents of pantone #e53415
We are not stuck on using this color combination and are open to other color combinations. However, we prefer colors that are subtle of muted. We are NOT the in your face kind of photographer.
Please use that market to a serious audience with an age range of around 22-40 years old.
We would prefer not to have an image of a camera in our logo (too stereotypical for a photography business), but are open to having to use one if it can be done in a really cool way. Natural stuff like birds, flowers, leaves are nice, as seen on our blog at http://www.39eastvision.com
However, we are open to other motifs as well.
I would like to move our logo away from just text only.
