We are the "innovation lab" of UCLA Health System in Los Angeles, California. Our little group searches for, selects and supports new models - in both business and clinical practice - that will radically and rapidly improve the value, quality and patient satisfaction of/with the services we provide.
Our target audience is quite broad, and includes internal stakeholders (executives and physician leadership, mainly) as well as well as external organizations and individuals such as government, non-profits, other large academic medical centers, media and journalists.
We need an understated logo (almost a "non logo") that can set us apart and give us a sense of identity, but communicate that we're also part of a larger whole - UCLA. We do have some restrictions on colors, fonts, etc. (see color guidance below).
Also, once we choose a logo for our group, there will be immediate follow-on work with the chosen designer: a set of visual icons/buttons for use in presentations and publications, and an infographic that depicts our innovation process. So please realize that a small, simple logo is just a start!
