Ckurdziel got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Help hackday.tv with a new logo
Check out Ckurdziel's Logo design contest…
we bring software and hardware hackers together for a day of creativity, learning, innovation and hacking around video.
Logo types to explore
musichackday.org has a logo for music hack days - we are a similar type of organization but oriented toward video. this might help give some guidance as to what the organization is all about. we're focused on getting together hardware and software hackers for creative hackathons around the video medium. these events are going to be hosted in different cities around the globe. we're also loosely affiliated with shelby.tv, the most amazing way to discover and enjoy the video your friends are sharing. incorporating the "play button" element from video (and the shelby.tv) logo might be an interesting way to make this logo stand out.
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Logo design starts at $299.
