You can see our website to get a feel for our business at http://www.gohorse.com.au. This project is for a small home business hoping to get bigger.
A primary use of the logo is as a label for our rugs. These are manufactured in two colours in a rubber embossed style. That is there is a white backgroumnd with the colour raised in 3d.
The style can not by too intricate otherwise the embossed label can not match the fine details of the design however you can see from our existing logo what detail is achievable, so it should not be too limiting.
Also the rubber label is sewn onto our horse rugs and so needs a shape like a circle/oval or a square/rectangle with well rounded corners that the sewing machine can run around. It also needs an encircling colour like our current logo or the holden or FPV logo as the stiching to attach the logo follows this line.
The current logo is about 7cm in diameter but it could be up to say 9cm.
We will also use the logo our our website and printed materials so generally it will be used on a white background. We could use a version with more colours on our website as long as it also works as a one colour on white version.
It needs to include a horse graphic with a proud look (not agressive or passive).
The main market is generally women who want to look after a prized pet/friend/companion in their horse. Owners range from sporty to western to casual riders to racing to those that just breed horses and show them so it needs wide appeal.
I included some horse heads to show the relief style but these are a bit too agressive looking.
I do like the Lions Den logo maybe with a rectangular shape and rounded corners but don't let this stop you creating anything that you think will work better.
The wording just needs to include at least our name Gohorse - could be all upper case or with initial capital and Australia in any font that looks best.
