Food & Drink
It's a new web site where visitors can get honest, straightforward, no BS advice, information, recipes, and resources about cooking and eating in a healthy natural way without spending hours in the kitchen.
Logo types to explore
I already tried one designer and he gave me pre-fab, cartoony stuff that looked like it was for a children's cook book. I want it to look original, not like it came right off of Vistaprint. Slightly playful, maybe even a little fun, but definitely mature. It's for an older, female audience. I prefer simple, clean lines and bold colors. Skip the textured backgrounds and drop shadows. One or two fonts max. One or two main elements max. It's a cooking site so it should look like it's about cooking, or preparing food at the very least. No chef's hats please. Original illustrations are very welcome. No clipart. Finally, I have a thing about the sun. If you can work a drawing of the sun in there I think I'd be very attracted to that but only if it seems natural to be there. I recently had a dream of a double-line drawing of a sun and make a very crude representation of that, which I've uploaded. I know I'm going way overboard with the description but the last designer just didn't seem to get it no matter what I said so I'm just a little gun shy. Thank you in advance! I look forward to seeing your design!

g'twitz was very self driven and continued updating and refining the design even without instruction. I was impressed at the number of variations and the continued polish that was given to the design as we moved further into the process!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
