Help The Garden with a new logo

We supply catering (food and drink) services to corporate companies and at prestiguous events across the country. We are also in the process of manufacturing cooking products for the retail market (supermarkets etc). The brand needs to be versatile so it can combine the professional element of cooking in a catering environment, with the necessary convenience and demand for great flavours within the home environment.

Want to portray a natural healthy image both to our corporate customers and to the retail market. Tree looks great but must be careful we do not look like a gardening company. Ideally would like to have a word logo we can use independently along with a picture depending on space. I have enclosed some pictures of an ivy plant which I like but concerned that kind of abstract design is a little bit old hat and will look out of date in a few years. I have also enclosed a picture of the kind of packaging the design will go on. As you can see our current logo does not really work. Our slogan 'professional cooking made easy'.
