Flying Pig Auditing, Consulting, and Training Solutions (FPACTS) works a lot with internal auditors, compliance professionals, and risk managers. This is a very stodgy group, and one of the objectives of FPACTS is to bring creativity to processes that are seldom seen as creative. (Hence, our unpublished mission – when will internal auditors provide value? When pigs fly.) It is this creativity that has led FPACTS to be some of the first to explore organizational risks in social media, external reviews of marketing operations, and groundbreaking tools for process analysis. Thinking sideways is an asset in the way we approach analyses of business. All that is why the flying pig is so prominent. That being said, there are lot of flying pigs out there, so the challenge is finding something new that reflects this sideways approach to a staid group of individuals.
