Rebecca.kallym got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Help Electrikal with a new logo
Check out Rebecca.kallym's Logo design contest…
I am starting my own electrical business. We do general residential electrical work such as full wire ups of new houses, maintenance and repairs. Basically a general electrician not particulary specializing in one thing.
Logo types to explore
i have submitted one photo of a logo that i like in the way that they have incorporated an electrical plug into the E of Electrical. My name is Kallym, and as a play on words/letters, my business name is "ElectriKal". I dont have much of an idea of exactly what i want, although i do know that i want to emphasise the K. The logo also needs to be able to incorporate a smaller text saying "Canobie" as its my last name and had to be part of the business name "Electrikal Canobie" as "electikal" was not available on its own. I would like to be able to have 2 versions one with and on without the "Canobie" part as i will just use the ones with "canobie" on letter heads and documents. The one without will be used for signage & advertising as to make it simpler and stand out more. Im after a modern logo which stands out from the rest of the generic electrical ones that everybody seems to have. I am leaving it up to you, the designers to create and inspire me with your ideas. Im not set in concrete about the colors, although i would like to keep it relativley neutral and simple but still something that can be professional, sleek, stand out. It must be easily legible on white for documents, white vans, etc. i wouldnt mind incorporating such things as the electrical plug (as i mentioned earlier) or possibly make the cord from the powerplug come around and link with the bigger "K". I am ready to be amazed. Go!
