Who are you known as?
The Next Gen Scientist
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
The Next Gen Scientist was formed with the idea that scientists can and should utilize all available resources to communicate what they are doing and why it is important.
It’s an interesting time to be a young scientist. Technology is advancing rapidly and dropping in cost. We have the ability to connect with others on a global scale through the internet. Social media can be utilized to share and communicate with others at little to no cost. What will all of this mean for the future of scientists? What will this mean for young people with an interest in science? What will this mean for the future of our planet?
The Next Gen Scientist is currently a webpage (http://www.thenextgenscientist.com) and we hope to turn it into a YouTube series and a brand which incorporates topics in science, technology, communication, and the future.
The target audience would likely be adolescent/young adult, like high school - college range, who are involved in social media and who have an interest in the future of science/technology.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
The logo doesn't need to necessarily follow the three draft designs provided; the concept of 'The Next Gen Scientist' involves the future, science, communication and technology (this made me think of things like DNA double helix, circuits, plant roots/leaves, hexagon shapes, wifi, etc).
For a logo, I'd like to be able to watermark images and videos with it. Something simple (less noisy/complicated) would be preferable. I would be ok with using 'The Next Gen Scientist' or simply 'NGS' for the text depending on the design. Thanks!
