We're a small group of friends who were frustrated with lack of practical online information on how to pay for for our health insurance and medical bills, so we started a website and blog for news and tips for affordable healthcare for the average American.
The website that we started, MyHealthCafe.com, is a practical, non-partisan resource and online community which allows people to come together and share information and experiences while learning to cope with understanding the healthcare system and understanding and paying our soaring medical bills.
MyHealthCafe.com has been up and operating for a few months now, and while we've been pleased with its progress, as we gain traction and traffic we would like to start building a distinct brand identity with an attractive and eye-catching new logo.
Our target audiences are women with families and older Americans who are coping with finding affordable health insurance and paying for their healthcare and prescription drugs. Some of our most popular blog posts have been about rising health insurance premiums, paying for mammograms, and changes to Medicare under healthcare reform.
Our target audience member is not as concerned with the policy of the U.S. healthcare system as the practical question of how to take care of themselves and their families without breaking the bank.
We are looking for a logo which can encapsulate the idea of our website, news and tips on how average Americans can find affordable healthcare and pay for their healthcare without breaking the bank.
We would love to have the logo which can balance the following ideas:
1. No partisanship - the website is about practical information for all Americans.
2. Nothing too newsy - we do not want to come across as being hard news. We want to be accessible to all Americans
3. Any typeface should be clear, simple and bold. We want something that stands out.
