Wow! Veasna thoughtfully absorbed the brief and my crude sketches and made it all into something very beautiful that is true to the spirit of my company. I feel very lucky! Great communication, awesome design, patient with my needs. I will definitely be working with this designer again. Highly recommended.
The designer did an excellent job on the initial task as well as was very responsive on all follow up. We are very impressed and will use them again.

Who are you known as?
Nihao Mandarin OR NiHao Mandarin OR NiHao Mandarin Training Centre
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We are an online training centre. We will offer classes and cultural information/classes to help people outside of China to learn Chinese and better understand Chinese culture. Eventually we hope to become a hub/ portal so people can shop for Chinese cultural goods online, interact with the communities in China, and enhance their understanding of a misunderstood country.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
Nihao or NiHao is the pinyin (romanized letters) version of the characters for Hello (你好) so the name literally translates to Hello Mandarin. I'd like it if the logo could come across as friendly but professional. I was thinking it could be interesting to try and incorporate the characters in some way. In many ways I see this website as trying to build a bridge between two different cultures by trying to remove some of the mystery.
Our target audience is most likely people between 15 - 30 years of age that either work in China, are looking to work in China, are looking to travel in China, or need some professional development for their current work. Initially the website will be focused on the Canadian market but should expand eventually.
In terms of colour, red and gold are very lucky and important colours in Chinese culture which is why I was thinking of those colours.
Attached is an idea of the the template we are using for the site. (Colours and other details are not yet defined.)
