Food & Drink
This is a business that combines self-serve frozen yogurt, and an art gallery featuring local artists, (myself included) that will display art and sculpture on the walls and in an adjoining gallery, some of the art will be for sale. We are located in a small town that is rebuilding the downtown area and focusing on an "Arts and Entertainment" district. I will have monthly live demonstrations by artists, and work with local schools and daycares to develop interests in the arts in young and old. Our town has a heavy musical influence, and a new lifesize sculpture of the Beatles Abbey Road (featured in the Wall St. Journal) is next door to my businesses.
Logo types to explore
I'm looking for something that appeals to art lovers, without being too "Stiff", remember this is a frozen yogurt shop as well. It needs to be fun, perhaps even funny or clever? I thought about taking a classic Art piece, something recognizable to most, and interjecting a yogurt connection (cup of yogurt, etc.) into it. (Perhaps too juvenile, but it would be fun to see possibilties). The featured art will be mostly modern or contemporary in nature, the colors of the yogurt shop are the colors found in van Gogh's Starry Night, (one of my favorites) and will incorporate the blues and bright yellows and swirls of that painting. Modern custom-built lighting, seating, WiFi friendly, and a "homework" area with good coffee to appeal to the local college crowd. Too get a feel for my artwork/sculpture go to Facebook, look for Iron Mountain Metal Works, (Walnut Ridge, AR) and take a look around. GOOD LUCK AND THANK YOU!
