Katjehatcher got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Help Abbey Street Design, LLC with a new logo

I am starting an Etsy business. I would like a logo created which will then drive the entire design process later, a banner ad for Etsy, product hand tags and possibly a website at a future date. I will be launching the business with a variety of sewn and embroidered personalized products. These will include baby bibs, burp cloths, purses, shopping and tote bags. I currently also embroider company logos and names on shirts, hats, towels, and any other items they request. In terms of the logo design, I am looking for a logo that might have a whimsical idea that may incorporate something about the business or something that would in the future be an image or character we can build around and edit for the seasons or holidays. The store will sell other items in addition to the baby products, so the idea should be fun, however not exclusively 'baby'. Our business name comes from the name of the street where we owned a little house when the business was first started. We still use that little house for the company at this time. I will be using this logo for the Etsy business, cards and to embroider on our shirts and other items for name recognition. Thank you for your time! I look forward to working with you.
Logo types to explore
One designer emailed me (great idea!) asking for photos of examples of my work. As you can see the orders range from very cute baby bibs to professional company logos and company logo/character work. It just all depends on the where the order comes from. Right now I'm running at about 50% of my work being professional for companies and 50 % being children's and baby items.
