dejango got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Check out dejango's Logo design contest…
Our family of Happy Birthday domains consists of about 400 domain names with the most popular given names in the US and the world. We are about to launch a new innovative service under these identities and look for an attractive logo that will work well with our massive list of names.
What's your vision?
Desired Color Scheme: Colorful Accepted File Formats: Standard Web Formats (.jpg, .gif or .png) Entries should contain a logo for our primary website: http://www.HappyBirthdayDomains.com and optionally for HappyBirthdayCharles.com and HappyBirthdayElizabeth.com so we can see that it works well with several names. We look for a colorful outcome and some graphical elements in addition to the domain name text, things like fireworks and/or a gift box will probably be appropriate but please feel free to come with your own creative ideas. Winning designer will be requested to provide three sizing versions on all the names, so please consider this extra labor and keep the text part of the logo trivial enough to easily reproduce.
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Logo design starts at $299.
Full copyright with production-ready files for digital and/or print.
It all began with a design brief.

Designers across the globe delivered design magic.
dejango collaborated with designers to refine their ideas
When design entries come in, you can rate them so designers know what you’re looking for in your logo design.
99designs has great collaboration tools so you can pinpoint and capture your ideas
And then… they selected a winner!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
