Bmt2013 got their new logo design by running a design contest:
GUARANTEED: Re-brand a State Senate Campaign with an Iconic Logo!
Check out Bmt2013's Logo design contest…
I am a 37-year-old, first-term Alabama state senator running for re-election in 2014, looking to rebrand my campaign. My district is generally rural/agricultural just north of Montgomery, the state capital, with a few suburban or "bedroom" communities on the outskirts of Montgomery. So generally, my voters are people who commute into Montgomery, as well as farmers and ranchers out in the country. My district is known for cotton and peach farming, and for the convergence of three rivers (the Tallapoosa and the Coosa converge to form the Alabama River). My record is that of a fighter for ethics reform; more responsive, honest, open government; education reform, and pro-growth economic policies.
Logo types to explore
Must have an elegant, statesmanlike design that will work on 18"x24" yard signs, TV ads, letterhead, and campaign "pushcards" or brochures. Potential concepts include an emblem incorporating the convergence of three rivers in my district, or an abstract banner, such as the one used in the McCain logo attached. Prefer a design on a dark color background (such as navy or crimson red), with the capability to put the same design in inverse for printing on white letterhead (or other transparent background such as website or TV ad). Would like to exude serious, get-the-job-done professionalism, while evoking in voters a sense of pride in our "Sweet Home Alabama." Proposals should be fresh and original. Not looking for just another generic political yard sign. Please see the samples I uploaded. This is a STATE office, not a national office, so please do not use the U.S. Capitol or other national U.S. landmarks. Design should really be simple, elegant, powerful, focus attention on the name and the office (state senate or state senator). The name and office MUST be readable/legible to drivers passing by at high speeds on a 24-inch by 18-inch sign. Open to different ways to brand the campaign (such as Bryan Tayor for State Senate, Bryan Taylor State Senate, or State Senator Bryan Taylor 2014).
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Logo design starts at $299.
