Very professional and pleasant designer to work with. Came in late in the process with innovative work that was based on my suggestions and direction but did not hand back my own resources the same way I presented them. His patience with the concept showed. Amenable to change and suggestions from me even when I felt I was nit-picking. A very pleasant experience that came from a very nerve-wracking start. I would hope to find work for him again sometime.

We are a tabletop gaming blog focusing on war gaming in the midsouth of the United States. You can read the site here: http://midsouthgaming.com/
We want something that will not only function as a proper logo on our blog, but as something we can use in future branding for tshirts, flyers at conventions, et cetera.
Our audience is young (18-34), predominantly male and nerdy as all get out.
We're hoping for something that looks fun, but serious. To us, tabletop gaming is a competitive sport. There may be something to explore visually there--like a polo team crest or something similar--but we're completely open to any ideas out there.
