Raising authentic wines
Food & Drink
Please help us design a logo for a boutique family-owned vineyard, where all the work is done by the family to grow and farm our grapes. We hand harvest the fruit to make authentic wines that we will sell out of a tasting room located on the vineyard property. Our focus is to make hand-crafted artisanal wines, staying true to each year's vintage. The logo will be used on wine labels, website and marketing/sales for the tasting room. Our name is based on our love for Midnight (our late Labrador Retriever dog -- please do not include a dog in any design) and Moondance for our recognition that each wine vintage will have its own character due to the specifics of each growing season (much like the different seasons have unique characteristics during the year; or each day changing from sunlight to moonlight, etc.). Our target audience is men and women 25+ years old, with the majority of customers being women 45+ years old. The style of logo we are thinking of is on the sophisticated side with some Bohemian style. Watercolors and an abstract approach would be of interest, avoiding the clip art look. We like the idea of including a grape vine/grapes in some way and the hands-on way we work with the vines and the wine. As for the font, we would like to see some handwritten font for the slogan and avoid standard fonts (such as New Times Roman, Helvetica or Arial) in the name. The logo should be in color with black/white options as well.
