Please DO NOT include pizza in the logo UNLESS you can make it look truly gourmet. We DO NOT want a logo featuring cheesy, gooey pepperoni pizza. This is NOT our style. If a logo would work for a cheap takeout pizza restaurant, it will not work for us.
We LOVE a hand-drawn style, as you can see in our Design Inspiration section. :)
Please DO NOT use only the colors of the Italian flag (red, white, green). This is common in pizza logos, but remember that we use world ingredients and California-style cooking, so looking like an Italian pizzeria doesn't quite work for us.
Please visit our site at http://www.threebigbites.com to get a sense for our style. We're keeping the site simple, clean, and elegant, but would be happy for the logo to be fun and colorful (as long as it still looks classy and upscale).
Some of the ingredients that we love to use include: fancy mushrooms (like shiitake, chanterelle, maitake, and similar), leeks, arugula, figs, garlic, various chilis and peppers, potatoes, eggs, walnuts. You do not need to include any of these in the logo if they don't inspire you! I just want to be clear that we make "interesting" pizzas. (Our most recent pizza, for example, had Roasted Endive, Candied Buddha's Hand, Almond, and Garlic Confit.)
Most of our recipes are vegetarian, so please don't include meats (sausage, pepperoni, chicken, etc.) in the logo.
Key concepts for the site: seasonal, organic, fresh, local ingredients, global flavors, innovative recipes, fine dining, gourmet pizza.
