Always a pleasure working with FORTUNA designs. Once again, Fortuna was quick, professional and most importantly, creatively pitch-perfect.
The job was a new logo and icon. RTis did a great job and was happy to make as many changes as needed. Would highly recommend, we love the logo!

Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Freelance documentary family photographer based in Melbourne, Australia. I go into family homes and document the natural moments without posing them, the day to day grind etc. Target audience: middle class families with young children from birth to 7 years with a good disposable income. Parents are professionals or have at least a university degree. Main decision-maker to purchase will be the wife. Will need to touch on her emotions. Not afraid to show people that their home can be messy and that their children cry during bath time.
These mothers are in transition from being professional working women to mothers. They want to be seen as a little different and artistic from the mundane 'normal' stay-at-home-mum. They have at least a subconscious appreciation for the arts. Their homes have an element of good interior design taste. They run around and keep really busy, always on the go. Latte in hand, running with a pram. They want to maintain their identity and not lose themselves in their kids. They have goals, they're modern mums.
My logo needs to capture WHY documentary family photography is better than the 'normal' posed family portraits that suburban families opt for. It needs to show natural, authenticity, real life. It needs to be strong, yet have a yin/yang element of masculine AND feminine. It needs to be dependable and aspirational.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Dark neutrals: Formality, mystery, exclusivity and luxury.
Light neutrals: Purity, balance and sophistication.

I want one version of the logo to be just the words, no picture/design next to it. Really simple and straightforward. I have attached three that I like but please don't copy.
I want another version of the logo to have two triangles incorporated it that are somehow linked. I dont want it to look too corporate though. really dont want that. I need this logo to be approachable yet give off a high quality vibe if that makes sense. Please play around with angles and positions/linking of the triangles. Maybe incorporate into my name. see what you can create. I really would prefer to stick with black and white.
I need this logo to look good as a watermark for my images.
My current logo is on my website http://www.elisaelgstrom.com.au
Please NO CAMERAS or anything to symbolise cameras, tripods etc in the logo.
