How Chasegilomen started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
High Desert House
What’s your company slogan?
Fine Casual Cooking
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
High Desert House will be a restaurant located in Sedona, AZ to be housed in an 8,000 square foot adobe building (photo attached). The restaurant will be "Fine Casual" using fine dining ethos, preparation and ingredients (vegetable focused), but served in a relaxed, comfortable environment in an affordable way ($16-26 per person average). We will be utlizing as many ingredients as possible from the state of Arizona and will celebrate the relationships with local farms we've developed and responsibly raised livestock. In many cases, the farmers will be delivering their produce, dairy and eggs directly to the restaurant by hand throughout each week. The restaurant team is made up of service industry professionals with extensive experience in fine dining looking to do the same thing in a relaxed, fun and affordable way! We want the logo to be both refined and breezy. The vibe of the famous French Laundry in Yountville, CA has is a real inspiration but obvisouly that is a much, much more expensive and exclusive experience. We are serious about food, but want to bring people into our world without being snobby or pretentious and not costing an arm and a leg!
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
The building that the restaurant will be housed in is extremely unique and we can it to take on a life of its own. The Building, with the Sedona Red Rock mountains behind it may be the basis for a logo, but I would like it to be simple enough that a scaled down version could be used on pens, shot glasses and other small things.
All photos attached are of the current business in the building which we currently own but you can get an idea of the style of the building from the photos, but we are going to close this business and open the HDH with new direction more towards and American, Fresh, Garden (we are going to convert part of the parking lot in to an herb and bush vegetable garden) feel and away from the Mexican food feel.
