I loved Josh's designs straight away and he worked with me to tweak things. He understood our brief and my instructions and made things better than I could have hoped for. Excellent service, support and creativity. We are SO happy with the logo, it turned out better than we expected.

We are trying to reach a mature demo... soon to retire or with kids in school (fundraising), or with a little extra money and time who are also a bit 'granola' or green and/or philanthropic. Generally, people who want to be involved in giving back (both with donation and volunteer). While also maintaining a young, clean, fresh, look to appeal to and engage the web savvy younger user.
The WMF and JPG files are a result of some brief, very brief, googling and should be considered vague concept images. The layout is what we are more committed to. All changeable, however. Currently the layout uses a logo and G2G only. Nowhere is Gather2Give spelled out. We like the G2G abbreviation, but think Gather2Give should be in the header. Both need logos. http://www.kiva.org is a micro-finance site we have been using as a good design example.
