Dish DJ is a community made up of chefs, cooks, and caterers selling their dishes to neighbors around them. My neighbor is a fantastic baker. She makes specialty breads that cannot be found at any store or restaurant in my entire city. She's been baking for 20+ years but she doesn't have a storefront. Dish DJ will be her storefront!

I made a video that details what I have been thinking for when it comes to the Dish DJ logo. Link for video: https://youtu.be/n6E6S0ILC78 I really like the idea of milk crates filled with records, like DJs who mix parties used to carry back in the days. so I'm imagining a milk crate that's filled with various dishes; the records might be different color covers, but I'd imagine only one 'dish' needs to be in focus to really make the Dish DJ idea make sense. Instead of disc jockeys, I'm trying to make a logo for DISH jockeys. I believe all the design inspiration examples I've chosen can be fitting on mobile app icons and launch screens. -- The milk crate idea is definitely not working out. The concept of the vinyl 12" record, record cover, and food seems to be the key to this logo; for it to look suitable for mobile app icons and mobile app design.
