Funky, Simple Online Pet Store Logo incorporating 2 mascots

we are an online pet store that retails pet food, pet supplies and accessories on a variety of marketplaces. we pride ourselves on selecting holistic pet food and products to offer to pet parents, so as to ensure that their pets get the best without compromising their health and well being. There are 2 mascots that are currently in use. A boy and a dog as attached in the brief. If possible, please include either both (ideally) or one of them in the logo. It's ok if you would like to re-draw them to a more simplified version for use in the logo. They can be re-positioned, have their body posture altered, use only the top half or just the head etc, do play around with whatever ideas you have. There's no restrictions. we aim to be funky and unruly to the extend of disrupting the beliefs and practices of traditional retail and marketing that says our pets should consume by-products or highly-modified food just so that big brands can line their pockets with ill-gotten gains. However, we are also very earnest and honest in our suggestions and reviews so that pet parents can be better informed when they make their buying decisions.
