Hi Final Round ☺
Thank you for your patience, and all your hard work. I have been so pleased with all the results.
I wanted to make sure I had enough time to get you some useful feedback.
Here is my plan. Below you will find any notes I have. Feel free to ask any questions. I will give you 36 hours to make any final changes/edits/submissions, or just stick to what you have submitted. I will take my 4-5 favorites and do a poll on facebook for 24 hours, at the end of which I will choose the “winner”.
I will have some quick (and probably easy) turnaround graphic work needed for the kickstarter campaign, shortly after deciding the winner.
Here are my comments
Colors – I prefer grays and purples,
Fonts – I prefer modern, simple and easy to read fonts. I especially have liked fonts on design 35, 40, 70, 84, 91
Form – I prefer to recognize the shape of the glass as a stemless wine glass WITH a Halo. I also would like to see a subtle way to show the wine is “happy”. Keep in mind the “halo” would go above someone’s “head” so please keep that in mind to make it easy to identify the “halo” as that, a halo, on the cup.
Brand – I prefer the H and V to be bigger than the rest of the letters in HaloVino. I also prefer for each word to be a different color; Halo in gray and Vino in purple has seemed to please me the most.
Tagline – Say “halo” to happy wine, preferably in script but I did really like design 91 use of block letters too, and probably in the gray.
I had an idea to include a "happy" face somewhere in the design... but I am not married to this idea if it cannot be executed in a fun, sophisticated way without coming across as cheesy or cheap. I will attach some sketches. If we can get a "happy" face into the design I will use Say "Halo" to Happy Wine as a tagline... if not, I will use Say "Halo" to Better Wine
Finally, although it is one word (HaloVino), I would like the "H" and the "V" capitalized and I would like the "Halo" to be one color (yellows, whites or silvers like halos), and "Vino" (purples, reds, pinks like wine) to be a second color.
Finally, I started a pinterest page with logos i like to help you out.
