tjknup4 got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Fun and Engaging Kids Logo for Educational YouTube Channel and Website
Check out tjknup4's Logo design contest…
We are a new brand launching first on YouTube doing children's book read alouds targeted towards kindergarten and pre-kinder-aged children and their parents. We plan to add on a content site with educational resources and activities for this same audience.
I’m open to ideas on the type of logo that’s best for my brand. Must be fun, engaging, and appealing to kindergarten-aged children as well as their parents. Perhaps with educational, reading, learning themes. Open to words only or with a mascot. Kinderopia will be the main logo but I would like "Read Alouds" added below but with the ability to remove it for other uses. "Read Alouds" will only be used on the YouTube channel. I have attached a logo I like but feel free to run with your ideas. :) ***BRIEF UPDATE*** Hello designers! I appreciate all of the submissions and am learning what I like and the possibilities based on the great designs submitted. Here are some things for further clarity and the reasoning for most of my ratings. -I like a well-developed text logo with tasteful details like fill design, outlining, shadowing, etc. -Leaning far more to a well-designed and unique text logo without a mascot than with a mascot. -I really like text logos with "easter eggs" as some have done. Incorporating educational and reading elements subtly and tastefully into the design. See my Kiddopia logo example -I like additional elements being added around the text logo (some have done books, stars, etc.) but would like the text to be able to stand alone as these elements may only be used in the youtube channel and may be simplified for website use. -I think a well-developed text logo with tons of personality and maybe some surrounding elements will win me over. I realize that in design, the problem is not whether the designer can do it but whether the client can even understand what she or he wants. :) I have taken much inspiration from the children's game KIDDOPIA so please check out Kiddopia.com if you need further inspiration. I can see adding character elements down the road. I like the colors and overall design of their site very much. Hope this serves to provide better direction. Thank you all for your time and effort, I appreciate it very much! Trevor
