Engine Room got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Now Fire Fighters need YOUR help... for their cafe logo

Food & Drink
We are a small espresso bar that focuses on quality coffees and small “grab-and-go” food. We anticipate most of our customers will buy take-away products although we will have some tables and benches for dine in service. We are catering to the more discerning coffee drinker and provide a boutique experience. We have quality, high-end coffee equipment and our beans are locally sourced from an artisan roaster in small batches.
Logo types to explore
The shop will have a simple industrial and hand-made feel about it. Materials will include wood, brick, concrete and raw steel with exposed lighting fixtures. Common themes include rust, rivets, vintage references to machinery and “engine rooms” of all kinds. There is an alley behind the shop which we will utilise as an alfresco area. This space will have a more natural feel with a wooden deck, plants and other greenery. As the café is owned and run by 3 fire fighters, we will also include some subtle fire fighter references in the fit-out ie hose lengths for reticulation, gear, lever or hydrant decorations, and spray paint artwork of a fireman/fire/fire truck – to be decided. There is a fire engine red front door. Our store features artwork from local artist and we intend to rotate artist every 3 months to showcase local talent. Primarily this will be graffiti and mural artworks on our large outside wall. attached images are from a friend and we like them but would like to see fresh ideas and variations on these themes.
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Logo design starts at $299.
