Our final design was exactly what we were after. The designers were professional, gave us great ideas to work with, were prompt in their reply and followed direction well.
The only thing that could be improved is the interaction between designers via the website. Each day we received around 100 designs and the designers would ask for feedback on their new design. But when we clicked on it, we couldn't see their previous work to compare with, instead we would have to scroll through all the designs to find it before we could compare and comment. Then we would have to do this for each new message. If there was a way to connect the designers new work with all the things they previously posted for efficient reference, that would be great.
We have had a fantastic experience with 99Designs and would recommend to everyone.

Great designer an I’m sure the company will go far.
It was great working with this designer. They responded quickly to what I asked for and the design is simple, and says what I want it to say. Overall a great experience and worth the money.
Refsii has consistently delivered great options. She is happy to alter her designs as per requests and is a great communicator.
The designs were excellent, well presented with mock ups, and the first draft was already on point. Designer was very responsive and helpful.
How zcall started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
The Financial Call
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
The logo needs to represent a podcast and blog about personal financial planning. Mostly targeting high net worth individuals, age 45-70, who are interested in learning a little more about improving their finances.
I am a financial planner. I manage clients' wealth and provide them financial advice. I am setting up a separate blog on which I can put my educational content. I am going to run a podcast with financial educational topics. Both the Blog and Podcast are called, “The Financial Call” because I will hold quite a few interviews and provide short tips on how to make good Financial decisions…good financial calls. My last name is Call. There are so many ways to go with this in design.
The goal is to get people interested in the content and then they will be guided to my site. Then they will potentially become financial planning clients. My typical client is about ready to retire so a lot of these topics will be about things like social security, taxes, risk of inflation, risk of markets, how do you fund retirement, how do you fund a funeral, how do you go on a 2-month vacation and not worry about your money, etc. We’ll do all this in a fun way with interviews and stories.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
While I am asking for you to suggest color patterns, I prefer not to have the full rainbow. Pick 1,2,3, or 4 colors and and run with them. Don't pick too many. I think it will get overly complicated.
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
Most of the other image examples I chose are more modern. I must lean that way. I liked that this one has a fairly simple and recognizable design to it.
This is mature. My clients are mature/older so that is good.
I like that this is eye catching.
Love the sleek design of the animal in this one.
I really like the creativity of this. I like the abstract and geometric design. I like that it has some color.
I like that this has a design, but the name is clearly legible at the same time.
I like how clean this is, but I don't just want my name with a few shapes. I want something that ties in "The Financial Call"
Love our clean this is, but yet it isn't just a few words with a shape. That leopard is pretty unique.
I am starting from scratch. pick your colors and play with the puns on the word Call. My last name is Call.
The Financial Call = could mean me as the financial advisor.
The Financial Call = could mean good financial decision.
The Financial Call = could mean financial interview calls.
I would love to see some ideas around this. Knowing my clients are typically over 50, an idea would be to use an old school phone with a modern/abstract and colorful geometric design that screams sleek and technologically up to date. I also want to see other ideas so don't just focus on that example.
